New spectral analysis from 2026 – more precise, faster, more economical

At the beginning of 2026, we will be expanding our quality assurance with a new generation of spectral analysis: the SPECTROMAXx LMX10 spark spectrometer.

The system enables high-precision and ultra-fast elemental analysis of ferrous and non-ferrous metals – from goods receipt and process control to final quality inspection. Thanks to improved detection limits, new factory calibration and state-of-the-art CMOS sensor technology, the SPECTROMAXx delivers reliable results while maintaining high productivity.

A particular advantage is the iCAL 2.0 calibration logic, which enables standardisation in just a few minutes and automatically compensates for environmental influences such as temperature or pressure fluctuations. In addition, intelligent argon management reduces operating costs in the long term.

With the introduction of this technology, we are strengthening our process reliability, traceability and quality – and investing specifically in future-proof analytics for the highest customer requirements.

🚀 Introduction of the tumble belt shot blasting machine at Livarna Gorica

We are delighted to integrate a state-of-the-art, efficient blasting system into our production with the Tumble Belt Shotblasting Machine type B12x12.5R/2W1EM/MS/SK/VT.

The new machine is based on the proven Tumble Belt principle, in which workpieces rotate continuously in a loop through a specially shaped belt guide while being treated evenly and thoroughly with abrasive media by a high-speed blasting wheel. This ensures excellent surface finishing for parts of all shapes – ideal for castings.

Key advantages of the new system:

  • Optimum blasting quality: Workpieces are treated completely and evenly thanks to continuous rolling in the machine.
  • High productivity: The system achieves excellent throughputs even for medium to large series – regardless of the material of the component.
  • Flexibility: Variants with rubber belts enable use for small, medium and large parts as well as different filling volumes.
  • Robust construction: The machine was designed for use in demanding production environments such as foundries.

With this investment, we are strengthening our production capacities in surface preparation and sending a clear signal for quality, efficiency and technological excellence – to the benefit of our customers and for the future of our production processes.

🇩🇪 Day of German Unity in Ljubljana 🇸🇮

On the occasion of the Day of German Unity on October 3rd, the ZÜRN Group together with LIGO (Livarna Gorica d.o.o.) had the honor of attending the festive reception hosted by the German Embassy in Ljubljana.

In a warm and welcoming atmosphere, representatives from politics, business, and culture came together to celebrate this important day and highlight the strong and long-standing ties between Germany and Slovenia.

We were particularly delighted by the personal exchange with Ambassador Sylvia Groneick, whose dedication to German-Slovenian dialogue and European cooperation made the evening even more meaningful.

For us, as an international group with deep roots in both countries, this evening was a powerful expression of partnership, trust, and a shared European vision.

Our sincere thanks go to the German Embassy in Ljubljana, and especially to Ambassador Sylvia Groneick, for the kind invitation and excellent organization of this memorable evening.

🤝 An evening dedicated to community, dialogue, and European partnership.
